Question 58

What is the ratio of the total number of male employees in offices C and F to the
number of employees in office B?

Male employees in Office E = $$\frac{50.4}{360}\times\ Total$$.
This gives the total number of male employees = 1600.
Total male employees in offices C and F = $$\frac{28.8+32.4}{360}\times\ 1600\ =\ 272$$.

Total employees in Office C = $$\frac{43.2}{360}\times\ Total$$.
This gives the Total number of employees = 2400.
Total employees in Office B = $$\frac{64.8}{360}\times\ 2400\ =\ 432.$$
The required ratio = 272:432 = 17:27.
