If Gaganjyot's salary is 7/6 times of Hafiz's and Sayed's is 8/7 times of Hafiz's, what is the ratio of Gaganjyot's salary to Sayed's.
Solution
Let Hafiz's salary = $$42x$$
=> Gaganjyot's salary = $$\frac{7}{6} \times 42x = 49x$$
=> Sayed's salary = $$\frac{8}{7} \times 42x = 48x$$
$$\therefore$$ Ratio of Gaganjyot's salary to Sayed's = $$\frac{49x}{48x}$$
= 49 : 48
=> Ans - (A)
