Solution

Let the teacher's age = $$x$$ years and the sum of ages of 36 students = $$y$$ years

Average age of 36 students = $$\frac{y}{36}=14$$

=> $$y=14 \times 36=504$$

When teacher's age is included, new average is 14 + 1 = 15

=> $$\frac{x+504}{37}=15$$

=> $$x+504=15 \times 37=555$$

=> $$x=555-504=51$$

=> Ans - (B)
