Solution

If 0.8 : X :: 5: 8.

$$\frac{0.8}{X}\ =\ \frac{5}{8}$$

$$5X=0.8\times8$$

$$5X=6.4$$

$$X=\frac{6.4}{5}$$

$$X=1.28$$
