For an examination ofa practical based subject, the total marks is 100. The break-up for theory, practical, project and viva voce is 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%. A candidate scored 80% in theory, 70% in practical, 60% in project and 50% in viva voce. What was her aggregate percentage ?
Solution
Theory = $$40\times\frac{80}{100}=32$$
Practical = $$30\times\frac{70}{100}=21$$
Project = $$20\times\frac{60}{100}=12$$
Viva = $$10\times\frac{50}{100}=5$$
Aggregate% = 32 + 21 + 12 + 5 = 70%
