Solution

Let the larger number be $$4x$$

=> Smaller number = $$\frac{25}{100} \times 4x = x$$

According to ques,

=> $$4x-x=12$$

=> $$3x=12$$

=> $$x=\frac{12}{3}=4$$

$$\therefore$$ Larger number = $$4 \times 4=16$$

=> Ans - (B)
