Let the two numbers be $$x$$ and $$y$$
Given : $$x+y=12$$ and $$xy=35$$ ------------(i)
To find : $$\frac{1}{x}+\frac{1}{y}$$
= $$\frac{x+y}{xy}$$
Using equation (i), = $$\frac{12}{35}$$
