The area of an equilateral triangle is 173 $$cm^2$$ then of the perimeter the equilateral triangle (use $$\sqrt{3} = 1.73$$) is:
Solution
Let side of equilateral triangle be $$a$$ cm
=> Area = $$\frac{\sqrt3}{4} a^2=173$$
=> $$a^2=173\times\frac{4}{1.73}=400$$
=> $$a=\sqrt{400}=20$$ cm
$$\therefore$$ Perimeter of equilateral triangle = $$3a=3\times20=60$$ cm
=> Ans - (B)
