The perimeter of a rectangle is 28cm. If the length is 5/2 times its breadth, find the length and breadth of the rectangle.
Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)
2(l + b) = 28
l + b = 14
Now l =Â $$\frac{5}{2}b$$
So, $$\frac{5}{2}b+b$$ = 14
$$\frac{7b}{2}=14$$
Hence, b = 4 and l = 10.
