If 5/6th of 7/6th of a number is 140, then 9/4th of that number is

Solution

Let the number be $$x$$

=> $$\frac{5}{6} \times \frac{7}{6} \times x = 140$$

=> $$x = 140 \times \frac{36}{35} = 4 \times 36$$

=> $$x=144$$

$$\therefore$$ 9/4th of the number = $$\frac{9}{4} \times 144$$

= $$9 \times 36 = 324$$

=> Ans - (D)
