Question 52

If the length of the diagonal of a square is $$10\sqrt{2}  cm$$, then what will be area of the square?

Solution

Length of the diagonal of a square = $$\sqrt{2}a$$ where a = side of the square
Given, $$\sqrt{2}a = 10\sqrt{2}$$
=> a = 10 cm
Then, Area of the square = $$10^2 = 100 cm^2$$
