Solution

Expression : $$(4a^{2} - 9b^{2})/(2a + 3b)$$

Using $$(x^2 - y^2) = (x - y) (x + y)$$

= $$\frac{(2a)^2 - (3b)^2}{2a + 3b}$$

= $$\frac{(2a - 3b)\times(2a + 3b)}{2a + 3b} = 2a - 3b$$
