What is the value of 11 + 12 + 13 + ……… + 35?

Solution

Expression : 11 + 12 + 13 + ……… + 35?

The above series is an A.P. with first term, $$a=11$$, last term, $$l=35$$ and common difference, $$d=1$$

=> Number of terms be = $$n=(35-11)+1=25$$

Sum of A.P. = $$\frac{n}{2}(a+l)$$

= $$\frac{25}{2}(11+35)$$

= $$25\times23=575$$

=> Ans - (A)
