The pie chart shows the votes in 1000s polled in favour of six candidates (A, B, C, D, E, F) contesting for a particular seat. Study the diagram and answer the following questions.

If voting attendance was 60% then how many names must be there in the voter list?

Solution

Total votes = (27+11+6+9+16+21)*1000 = 90000

if there was 60% attendance, then total voters = 90000/0.6 = 150000

So the answer is option D.
