Two different positions of the same dice are shown below,the six faces of which are numbered 1 to 6. Find the number opposite to the face having 3.

Solution

In the given dice 6 is present in both the dice. And 1,2,4 and 5 are in the adjacent surface of 6. So, 6 cant be in the opposite surface of 1,2,4 and 5. Only 3 is left. So, 6 will be in the opposite surface of 3.
