If the angles of a triangle are in the ratio 2 : 3 : 7 then the largest angle is :

Solution

Given, ratio of the angles of the triangle are 2 : 3 : 7

Let the angles of triangle be 2x,3x and 7x.

$$\Rightarrow$$  2x + 3x + 7x = $$180^{\circ}$$

$$\Rightarrow$$  12x = $$180^{\circ}$$

$$\Rightarrow$$   x = $$15^{\circ}$$

$$\therefore\ $$Largest angle of the triangle = 7x = $$105^{\circ}$$

Hence, the correct answer is Option B
