Question 5

If 264 * 2 = 6, 870 * 3 = 11, then what should 735 * 5 be?

Solution

The pattern is we have to treat the $$'\times'$$ sin as $$'\div'$$ sign, and add the digits of the answer.

=> $$\frac{264}{2}=132$$ and $$1+3+2=6$$

Similarly, $$\frac{870}{3}=290$$ and $$2+9+0=11$$

$$\therefore$$ $$\frac{735}{5}=147$$ and $$1+4+7=12$$

=> Ans - (A)
