The breadth of a rectangular field is 60% of its length. If the perimeter of the field is 800 m, what is the area of the field?

Solution

Length = l.

So, breadth=0.60l.

So, 2(l+0.60l)=800

or, 1.6l=400

or, l=250.

So, breadth= 150 m.

So, area of the fence=$$ 250×150 m^2$$

=$$37500 m^2$$.

B is correct choice.
