The total number of people who travelled by both the given trains together on Sunday is approximately what percent more then the total number of people who travelled by both the given trains together on Wednesday?
Solution
Total no. of people who travelled by both trains on Sunday = 270+310 = 580
Total no. of people who travelled by both trains on Wednesday = 140+120 = 260
% of people who travelled more on Sunday than on Wednesday = $$\frac{580-260}{580}$$*100 = $$\frac{320}{260}$$ * 100
= 123.07% = ~123%
