The place value of each of the letter is added by three to obtain the next one.

CAY ==> (C+3) (A+3) (Y+3) ==> FDB

FDB ==> (F+3) (D+3) (B+3) ==> IGE
IGE ==> (I+3) (G+3) (E+3) ==> LJH

Hence 'LJH' will come in place of blank.
