Solution

Let the son's age be x years

Then surya's age will be (x + 25) years

According to the question,

(x + 25) + 5 = 2(x + 5)

x + 30 = 2x + 10

x = 20

Surya's age after 3 years = 20 + 25 + 3 = 48 years.
