If the profit percent in 2008 was 25, what would have been the expenditure (in ₹ crores) in that year ?
Solution
Profit % = $$\frac{I\ -\ E}{E}\times\ 100$$ where I = 100 and Profit % = 25%.
This gives the E(expenditure) for 2008 = 80.
