Question 40

If $$4\triangle2=60,7\triangle9=160$$ and $$8\triangle3=110$$, then find the value of $$3\triangle2=?$$

Solution

The pattern followed is : $$a\triangle b = 10\times(a+b)$$

Eg :- $$4\triangle2=10\times(4+2)=60$$

and $$7\triangle9=10\times(7+9)=160$$

Similarly, $$3\triangle2=10\times(3+2)=50$$

=> Ans - (A)
