Question 40

If 4 * 2 = 3
and 8 * 4 = 3 ,
then 21 * 7 = ?

Solution

The pattern is that both the numbers are added and then the result is divided by the second number.

Eg = $$4+2=\frac{6}{2}=3$$

and $$8+4=\frac{12}{4}=3$$

Similarly, $$21+7=\frac{28}{7}=4$$

=> Ans - (A)
