Question 40

If -3%1 = 3, 3%6 = -18 and -7%4 = 28, then find the value of -2%9 = ?

Solution

Given : -3%1 = 3, 3%6 = -18 and -7%4 = 28

If we replace '%' with $$'\times'$$ and multiply the product with '-1', then we will get the desired result.

Eg :- $$(-3\times1)\times(-1)=3$$

and $$(3\times6)\times(-1)=-18$$

and $$(-7\times4)\times(-1)=28$$

Similarly, $$(-2\times9)\times(-1)=18$$

=> Ans - (C)
