Question 40

If 12@18 = -3, 18@6 = 6 and 16@8 = 4, then find the value of 6@10 = ?

Solution

Given : 12@18 = -3, 18@6 = 6 and 16@8 = 4

If we replace '@' with '-', and divide the difference by 2, we get the desired result.

Eg :- $$\frac{12-18}{2}=-3$$

and $$\frac{18-6}{2}=6$$ and $$\frac{16-8}{2}=4$$

Similarly, $$\frac{6-10}{2}=-2$$

=> Ans - (D)
