Let the first number be $$6x$$
=> Second number = $$3x$$ and third number = $$2x$$
Average of the three numbers = $$\frac{6x+3x+2x}{3}=396$$
=> $$11x=396 \times 3=1188$$
=> $$x=\frac{1188}{11}=108$$
$$\therefore$$ Difference between the first and the third number = $$6x-2x=4x$$
= $$4 \times 108 = 432$$
