Find the number of triangles in the following figure:

Solution

Small triangles = (ADE, BDF, CGE), (DOF, FOG, GOE, DOE) = 7

Triangles consisting 2 triangles = DFG, EFG, DEF, DEG = 4

Triangles consisting 3 triangles = CEF, BDG = 2

Large triangle = ABC = 1

Total number of triangles = 7 + 4 + 2 + 1 = 14

=> Ans - (B)
