To cover a distance of 144 km in 3.2 hours what should be the average speed of the car in meters/second?

Solution

Distance to be covered = 144 km and time = 3.2 hours

Speed = distance/time

= $$\frac{144}{3.2}=45$$ km/hr

$$\therefore$$ Speed of the car in meters/second = $$45\times\frac{5}{18}$$

= $$\frac{25}{2}=12.5$$ m/s

=> Ans - (A)
