Question 33

Six students, A, B, C, D, E and F, are standing facing north, but not necessarily in the
same sequence. A is at one corner and F is beside him. B is to the immediate right of
E. B is at the second place from the right end. C is not beside F. Who is standing at the
left end?

Solution

As per the given conditions in question,

We have 2 cases,

Case 1 :

Case 2 :

Case 1 is not possible because B is at the second place from right end.

  • B is immediately right of E
  • C is not beside F
  • B is at the second place from right end.

As clearly seen A is standing on the left end.

Hence, Option B is correct
