ΔABC is right angled at B. BD is the altitude. AD is 18 cm and DC is 50 cm. Find length of BD?
Solution
Let BD = $$x$$ cm
Using, $$(BD)^2 = (AD) \times (CD)$$
=> $$(x)^2 = 18 \times 50 = 900$$
=> $$x = \sqrt{900} = 30$$ cm
=> Ans - (A)
