The point R(a,b) is ﬁrst reflected in origin to R1 and R1 is reflected in x-axis to (-3,4). The co-ordinates of point R are

Solution

R(a,b) after reflection at the origin = (-a,-b)

Reflection of point (-a,-b) in the x-axis is (-a,b)

According to ques,

=> $$(-a,b) = (-3,4)$$

=> $$-a = -3$$ and $$b = 4$$

$$\therefore$$ Coordinates of Point R = (3,4)

=> Ans - (A)
