Select the correct option that will fill in the blank and complete the series.
1440, 240, 48, ? , 4, 2

Solution

$$\frac{1440}{6}\ =\ 240$$

$$\frac{240}{5}\ =\ 48$$

$$\frac{48}{4}\ =\ 12$$

$$\frac{12}{3}=4$$

$$\frac{4}{2}=2$$

Hence 12 will come in place of question mark.
