Five years ago, the average age of a couple was 24. At present, the average of the couple and a child is 20. What is the child's age?

Let say , individual ages of couple and child are a,b and c respectively.
(a-5)/2 + (b-5)/2 =24
or, (a+b)=58........(1)
At present, total age of them=60.
So, a+b+c=60
or, c=60-58=2.
