Solution

Let the bill = Rs. $$x$$

If 25% of bill is deducted, => Electricity bill = $$\frac{75}{100} \times x$$

According to question, => $$\frac{3 x}{4} = 1788$$

=> $$x = \frac{1788}{3} \times 4$$

=> $$x = 596 \times 4 = Rs. 2,384$$

=> Ans - (D)
