Class A has students twice that of class B. After adding 20 students to class A and 30 students to class B, the total number of students in both the classes is 140. What is the number of students in class A in the beginning?
Solution
Given students of class A= $$2 \times student of class B$$
and Student of class A +20 + student of class B+ 30 = 140
or Student of class A + student of class B = 90
or $$2 \times student of class B$$ + student of class B = 90
now after solving we will get student of class B = 30
and student of class A = 60
