Among the given three numbers, the second is twice the first and is also thrice the third, if the average of three numbers is 55, Find the largest number?
Let us assume the 2nd number to be 6X.
1st number = 6X/2 = 3X and 3rd number = 6X/3 = 2X.
Average =Β $$\frac{6X+3X+2X}{3}=\frac{11X}{3}$$.
This average is 55.
$$\frac{11X}{3}=55$$ ==> X = 15.
The largest number = 6X = 90.
