If a=2b/3 , b=2c/3, and c=2d/3 , then find the ratio of b and d :

Solution

Given :

a = 2b/3 , b= 2c/3, and c= 2d/3

Need to find :

ratio of b and d

Hence a = 2b/3 is useless for us

we just need to use

b= 2c/3, and c= 2d/3

Let put value of c = 2d/3 in b = 2c/3

then b = 2 (2d/3) / 3

=> b = 4d/9

=> b/d = 4/9

=> b : d :: 4 : 9

Ratio of b & d = 4 : 9
