Solution

Let say, in x hours that leak emptied the tank.

So, According to question:

(1/9)-(1/x)=(1/10)

or, (1/x)=(1/9)-(1/10)=(10-9)/90.

or, 1/x=1/90.

or, x=90.

C is correct choice.
