ΔXYZ is right angled at Y. If cosX = 3/5, then what is the value of cosecZ ?

Solution

Given : $$\cos X$$ = $$\frac{3}{5}$$

Also, $$\cos X=\frac{XY}{XZ}=\frac{3}{5}$$

Let XY = 3 cm and XZ = 5 cm

To find : $$\cosec Z=\frac{XZ}{XY}$$

= $$\frac{5}{3}$$

=> Ans - (B)
