ΔDEF is right angled at E. If cotD = 8/15, then what is the value of cotF ?

Solution

Given : $$\cot D$$ = $$\frac{8}{15}$$

Also, $$\cot D=\frac{DE}{EF}=\frac{8}{15}$$

Let DE = 8 cm and EF = 15 cm

To find : $$\cot F=\frac{EF}{DE}$$

= $$\frac{15}{8}$$

=> Ans - (A)
