The total surface area of a cube is 73.5 cm2. Find its side (in cm).

Solution

Let side of cube = $$a$$ cm

Total surface area of cube = $$6a^2=73.5$$

=> $$a^2=\frac{73.5}{6}=12.25$$

=> $$a=\sqrt{12.25}=3.5$$ cm

=> Ans - (A)
