Let radius of sphere = $$r$$ cm
=> Surface area of sphere = $$4\pi r^2$$
=> $$4\times\frac{22}{7}\times(r)^2=2464$$
=> $$r^2=2464\times\frac{7}{88}$$
=> $$r^2=28\times7$$
=> $$r=\sqrt{7^2\times4}=14$$
$$\therefore$$ Diameter of sphere = $$2\times14=28$$ cm
