Find the curved surface area $$(in cm^2)$$ of a right circular cone of diameter 28 cm and slant height 12 cm.

Solution

Radius of cone, $$r=14$$ cm and slant height, $$l=12$$ cm

Curved surface area of cone = $$\pi rl$$

= $$\frac{22}{7}\times14\times12$$

= $$44\times12=528$$ $$cm^2$$

=> Ans - (C)
