Question 22

Seven friends A, B, C, D, E, F, and G are sitting in a straight line facing North.

C sits third to the right of G.
G sits at one of the extreme ends of the line.
A is an immediate neighbor of C.
B sits second to the left of A.
Only two people sit between B and F.
E is not an immediate neighbor of G.

Who sits at the extreme right end of the line?

It is given, C sits third to the right of G and G sits at one of the extreme ends of the line.

So, G must sit at the left most end of the line.

So, the arrangement will be like:

G __ __ __ __ __

Now A is immediate neighbor of C and B sits second to the left of A.

This means, B must be on immediate right of C.

So, the arrangement will be like:

G __  C __ __

Now, two people sit between B and F.

So, the arrangement will be like:

G __   __

Now, E is not an immediate neighbor of G.

So, the final arrangement is:

E

So, the person sitting at extreme right end of line is E.
