Select the option that will correctly replace the question mark (?) in the given pattern.

Solution

The number at the top is equal to the product of sum and difference of bottom two numbers.

Eg :- $$(6+3)\times(6-3)=9\times3=27$$

and $$(6+5)\times(6-1)=11\times1=11$$

Similarly, $$(x+4)\times(x-4)=20$$

=> $$x^2-16=20$$

=> $$x=\sqrt{36}=6$$

=> Ans - (A)
