The perimeter and the breadth of a rectangle are 44 cm and 10 cm respectively. Find its area $$cm^{2}$$
Solution
Let length of rectangle = $$l$$ cm and breadth = $$10$$ cm
=> Perimeter = $$2(l+10)=44$$
=> $$l+10=\frac{44}{2}=22$$
=> $$l=22-10=12$$ cm
$$\therefore$$ Area = $$12\times10=120$$ $$cm^2$$
