The area of an equilateral triangle is $$36\sqrt3 cm^2$$. Find its side (in cm).

Solution

Let side of equilateral triangle = $$s$$ cm

Area of equilateral triangle = $$\frac{\sqrt3}{4} (s)^2=36\sqrt3$$

=> $$s^2=36\times4$$

=> $$s=\sqrt{6\times6\times2\times2}$$

=> $$s=6\times2=12$$ cm

=> Ans - (C)
