The area of an equilateral triangle is 25√3 $$cm^{2}$$. Find its side (in cm).

Solution

Let side of equilateral triangle = $$s$$ cm

=> Area = $$\frac{\sqrt3}{4} s^2=25\sqrt3$$

=> $$\frac{s^2}{4}=25$$

=> $$s^2=25\times4=100$$

=> $$s=\sqrt{100}=10$$ cm

=> Ans - (A)
