The area and the breadth of a rectangle are $$288 cm^2$$ and 16 cm respectively. Find its perimeter (in cm).
Solution
Let length of rectangle = $$l$$ cm and breadth, $$b=16$$ cm
Area = $$lb=288$$
=> $$l=\frac{288}{16}=18$$ cm
$$\therefore$$ Perimeter = $$2(l+b)$$
= $$2\times(18+16)=2\times34=68$$ cm
=> Ans - (B)
